Hakim Psychological Services is a private pay (self-pay) practice and does not accept or bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. Depending on your plan, you may be able to submit receipts for out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your benefits.

Hakim Psychological Services accepts Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and all major credit/debit cards, including FSA/HSA cards, through Simple Practice. Please reach out for information on payment plans.
The Assessment Process

Intake Evaluation:

Initial virtual session to discuss referral reasons, concerns, background, and other relevant information

Testing Appointment(s):
~3 hr
Complete assessment measures in 1-2 virtual appointments

Report Writing:
Dr. Hakim will score and interpret testing data and write up a report explaining your results

Feedback Session:
~1 hr
Virtual session to discuss your testing results and go over your report
What will you need?
- A screen size of no less than 9.7" (such as a laptop or tablet)
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection
- High quality video and audio (headset recommended)
- A private setting free of distractions
- Secondary camera (preferred; e.g., mobile phone)
